Surat cinta Brad tentang Angie itu pertama beredar di sebuah blog dari Nigeria mengenai hubungan romantis dan berita selebritas, Couples & Co.
Ribuan komentar diperoleh untuk postingan yang sudah dishare hingga 800 ribu kali di Facebook itu, menurut hitungan Linktally.
Dengan kata lain, internet heboh! Hanya saja, surat mengenai rahasia cinta itu sama sekali tak ditulis Brad Pitt.
Menurut Snopes, surat itu sudah beredar dalam berbagai bentuk selama bertahun-tahun. Namun sekitar pertengahan tahun lalu heboh.
Ini terutama karena Angie tahun lalu menjalani bedah mastektomi, sehingga relevan dengan kata-kata mengenai seorang istri yang sakit.
Meski saat surat ini menghebohkan internet, Brad dan Angie belum menikah. Hingga kini, masih belum ketahuan siapa penulis surat itu.
